Create a spreadsheet to check 3x3 matrix multiplication.

The spreadsheet should:

- Allow students to enter two 3x3 matrices, and their product.
- Provide clear directions to students regarding how to use the spreadsheet.
- Provide feedback regarding the correctness of each cell of the product.
- Allow students to ONLY edit appropriate areas.

- Check answers with WolframAlpha's Matrix Multiplication Calculator
- Protect data by unlocking appropriate cells (Format > deselect Lock Cell) then protecting worksheet (Format > Protect worksheet). PLEASE keep password blank!!!

Spread sheet gives more formative feedback based on common mistakes. Please indicate what types of mistakes I should test for, e.g. multiplying columns by row or multiplying corresponding cells.

Create spreadsheets that provide step-by-step instructions for computing a product using other methods besides the US standard algorithm.

Alternate algorithms to address:

- Allow a student to enter factors up to 3 place values.
- Provide directions for how to complete each step of the algorithm.
- Allow students to enter values for each step of the algorithm.
- Provide feedback whether or not the student's answers for each step are correct.
