Common Core State Standards - Mathematics Progressions documents for the Common Core Math Standards |

This course is designed to develop teachers' abilities with formative assessment in areas of geometry and measurement. Students will develop Learning Targets based on the Common Core State Standards in the areas of geometry and measurement. Learning Targets will be used to develop formative assessment probes that are designed to elicit misconceptions in student thinking, which will be organized into levels based on depth of understanding and progressions documents.

Participation (25%) | Students will fully participate in the daily activities contribution to class discussions and completion of tasks. |

Formative assessment probe (75%) | Students will develop an formative assessment probe based on the course content and submit a paper detailing development choices. |
